Jennifer Aniston: If I used a sperm donor, I'd want to know who he was

By Mail Online Reporter

Looking good: Jennifer Aniston looked amazing on last night's Today Show with Jay Leno

In her new movie, The Switch, Jennifer Aniston plays a wannabe mother who undergoes artificial insemination, using what she believes is the perfect donor's sperm, to get pregnant.

And when it comes to off screen it seems Aniston would allow life to imitate art, insisting that if she ever went that route she too would definitely 'wanna know the guy'.

Aniston revealed her preference during an appearance on Jay Leno's Tonight Show, last night in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old was on the show to promote The Switch as well as talk about her new perfume, Jennifer Aniston.

She also dished on her worst job ever from which she got fired - being a bike messenger in New York City, and her favourite food - three cheese thin-crust pizza, with shiitake mushrooms and peperoni.

Aniston explained that she follows a very strict regiment when it comes to maintaining her flawless figure, and claimed that whenever she eats a slice of pizza she immediately runs a lap!

Lovely legs: Aniston showcased her perfect pins in a short charcoal grey dress

The Friends star has been showing off the results of her vigorous workout regime and restricted diet a lot lately.

She recently posed topless for an ad campaign for her new fragrance and last night she displayed legs that went on for ever, wearing a short, charcoal grey dress.

Well, if you've got it flaunt it!

Aniston also talked about how she overcame her fear of flying, quipping that she 'Judy Garlanded my way through the whole flight.'

In The Switch, Aniston plays singleton Kassie who is desperate to have a baby. Ignoring the objections of her best friend, Wally (played by Jason Bateman) she decides to go it alone.

Kassie chooses a handsome and charming donor but before she can complete the act of insemination, unbeknown to her, a drunk Wally swaps the sperm for his own.

Promotion: Aniston is on a promotional tour for her new movie The Switch and for her fragrance, Jennifer Aniston

Aniston has talked about her desire to be a mother one day, telling Entertainment Weekly 'I'm on the verge of it in some way...it's something I long for.'

But when it comes to how the single star plans on accomplishing her dream, she's keeping decidedly mum.

Leno asked Aniston if she would ever take a page from The Switch and 'just go down the bank' to get pregnant?

'Jeeze that question has never been asked to me,' she deadpanned. 'You go to the bank and you have a card...I honestly don't know exactly.'

Cheryl Cole heads to Malibu with Derek Hough as she continues her recovery from malaria

By Sara Nathan and Ben Todd

Stateside recovery: Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough arrive at Los Angeles International Airport last night

She has spent the past month battling the malaria she caught in Africa.

Now Cheryl Cole is heading to the sunny but safer climes of California to help with her recuperation.

The 27-year-old singer and X Factor judge flew to Los Angeles just a day after making her first public appearance since being treated in hospital.

Mrs Cole will spend the next three weeks in the U.S. and is believed to be heading to the beach-side resort of Malibu.

She tried to keep her holiday a secret by flying to the States via Paris with her close friend, dancer Derek Hough, but the pair were spotted as they left Los Angeles airport late on Thursday.

Mrs Cole, dressed in a blue jumpsuit, oversized sunglasses and gladiator sandals, immediately separated from Hough, in a black tracksuit, baseball cap and sunglasses, as they left the terminal.

The couple are thought to be staying at Hollywood hotel the Sunset Marquis, popular with musicians, before making their way down the coast.

Much-needed break: Cheryl makes her way to a waiting car having arrived in California for some more rest and relaxation

The Girls Aloud singer has made a good recovery since catching malaria on a holiday to Tanzania with Hough, 25.

A source close to Mrs Cole said: ‘Cheryl has just spent a month in bed, so she just needed a change of scenery and a good break in the sun.’

She will return to her duties as an X Factor judge at the end of next month. Doctors gave her the go-ahead to fly after she was forced to cancel a week-long trip to LA in June because of her illness.

She looked to be in much better health after putting on a stone by changing her eating habits after doctors told her she had to regain weight lost during her illness.

Support: Derek Hough, pictured picking up some supplies in LA yesterday, has been by Cheryl's side as she recovers

The smile that says 'I'm on the mend': Cheryl Cole was pictured for the first time in a month on Wednesday as she picked up a Starbucks in Surrey

The 5ft 3in singer is believed to weigh just over seven stone. It was Hough, a dancer on the U.S. version of Strictly Come Dancing, who comforted Mrs Cole after her split from her estranged husband, Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole.

And Hough has been by her side as she recuperated from the malaria at her £6million Surrey mansion.

When she was this week spotted for the first time since her gruelling three-week illness, she was already looking noticeably fuller of face – and bearing a remarkable resemblance to the young Geordie who won a place in Girls Aloud in 2002.

Before Mrs Cole was diagnosed with malaria at the beginning of this month, her slender frame had sparked fears that she had been working too hard.

Low-key: Cheryl looked relaxed in a pair of jeans, white vest, jumper and flip-flops

An X Factor source told how Mrs Cole would find it hard to find the time to have a snack during the day.

But a friend said the brunette was now eating a diet of healthy food and was a big fan of baked beans, renowned for being a source of protein and fibre

Healthier: Mrs Cole appeared to have filled out compared to her gaunt appearance at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards last month

Her mother, Joan Callaghan, has been cooking her daughter roast dinners, pease pudding and kippers with scrambled eggs and ham and lentil soup. And the singer made sure everyone could see that she had a full-fat, frappucino coffee at Starbucks.

Mrs Cole wore minimal make-up, which did not cover deep shadows under her eyes, testament to her draining illness.

Pregnant Kelly Preston is blooming in blue as she and husband John Travolta jet in to visit the Spielbergs

By Georgina Littlejohn

Famous friends: Pregnant Kelly and husband John Travolta pose by their jet for a snap with director Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw

What better choice of colour for Kelly Preston than baby blue as the actress and her pregnancy bump took to the skies this weekend.

Kelly joined her husband John Travolta on board his new jet as they flew off to spend the weekend with friends.

Sporting a bright blue top, she beamed as she and Travolta jetted into Long Island, New York to visit to director Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw.

The four friends posed by Travolta's Eclipse 500 plane as they were greeted on the runaway, stopping to pose for some snaps for the family album.

Kelly, 47, and Travolta, 56, stayed at Spielberg's Hamptons estate for the night and arrived on Sunday before jetting out again on Monday.

Travolta is a licensed pilot and the Eclipse 500 is the latest addition to his collection

Warm welcome: Spielberg takes pictures as he and wife Kate greet Travolta and Kelly off their plane

He also owns a an ex-Australian Boeing 797-138 airplane which is called Jett Clipper Ella in honour of his children, daughter Ella, 10, and his late son Jett.

Jett, who suffered from the rare Kawasaki disease, was 16 when he died from a seizure while the family were on holiday in the Bahamas in January 2009.

The plane also bears the Qantas logo with Travolta acting as goodwill ambassador for the Australian airline wherever he flies.

Captain Travolta: The actor, in full pilot attire, poses by one of the engines of his Boeing plane

He recently said of being a pilot: 'I find flying extroverting — it puts your attention outside yourself — you’re responsible for a machine that’s going through the air at 600 mph. The sensation is thrilling and there’s a beauty and an art form to it.'

He and Kelly announced they were expecting their third child in May this year, 18months after Jett passed away.

Sources said the couple had been making 'a concerted effort' to have another child as a way of helping them deal with the overwhelming grief of Jett's death.

Cheryl Cole's recipe for recovery from malaria... baked beans and coffee in radical change of diet

By Sara Nathan

The smile that says 'I'm on the mend': Cheryl Cole was pictured for the first time in a month on Wednesday as she picked up a Starbucks in Surrey

Doctors said her body would struggle as she fought off malaria. But Cheryl Cole is looking fitter than ever after apparently putting on weight to aid her recovery.

The X Factor star was told to change her diet, which now includes baked beans and hearty roast dinners, and reduce her hectic work schedule.

It is believed she managed to put on a stone.

When the 27-year-old was this week spotted for the first time since her gruelling three-week illness, she was already looking noticeably fuller of face – and bearing a remarkable resemblance to the young Geordie who won a place in Girls Aloud in 2002.

Hearts in her eyes: Why Charlotte Church finally has something to smile about

By Andrea Magrath

Seeing love hearts: Charlotte Church seemed to have plenty to smile about while out running errands today in Wales

There may be an air of uncertainty surrounding Charlotte Church's lovelife at the moment, but the singer is looking confident and happy.

Despite being home in Wales, the mother-of-two looked distinctly in the holiday mood as she stepped out wearing a loud Hawaiian shirt and heart-shaped sunglasses.

The blonde star, 24, looked in good spirits and smiled as she ran errands in Cardiff today as rumours swirled about the status of her relationship with Jonathan Powell

Summer days: The singer wore a colourful ensemble of red floral shirt, straw hat and tan gladiator sandals

It was a similar story yesterday, when Charlotte was spotted at children's play area in Cardiff with son Dexter.

Carrying her 18-month-old, the singer laughed and smiled broadly as they walked to the car.

Earlier this week Charlotte and Jonathan entertained fellow guests at Hear'Say star Noel Sullivan's birthday party.

The karaoke was the pair's second impromptu performance this month, after they hit the stage together in Cardiff three weeks ago.

Jonathan and Charlotte met while he was working at her family's pub in Canton.

They have been collaborating on Charlotte's new album, due to be released in November.

Happy families: It was the second day in a row that Charlotte, pictured here with son Dexter, struggled to wipe the smile off her face

Of working together, Jonathan has said, 'It’s great to see someone with such a high profile taking such a pro-active lead in her music.'

WalesOnline website also quotes Jonathan saying: 'We seem to write well together. Basically I play the music that’s in her head.

'She’ll come up with an idea that I’ll create in musical form or I’ll come up with a riff and we work that way.'

Church split with partner, rugby player Gavin Henson in May, six weeks after announcing their engagement.

She has since moved into a new £1.3million six-bedroom house with children Ruby and Dexter.

Working together: Charlotte and Jonathan Powell have been pictured together several times this week, but insist they are just colleagues

Jennifer Ellison goes naked in Calendar Girls just FIVE months after giving birth

By Mail Online Reporter

'We're going to need considerably bigger buns': Jennifer Ellison plays trophy wife Celia in the opening night of Calendar Girls at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff

After giving birth to son Bobby five months ago, Jennifer Ellison was under pressure to lose her baby weight.

But on stage in Cardiff on Tuesday, the actress went one better than most celebrity mothers as she bared all in the new production of Calendar Girls.

The 27-year-old follows in the footsteps of Kelly Brook, Gemma Atkinson and Jerry Hall by playing trophy wife Celia, aka Miss September, in the latest cast change of the touring production.

Wearing nothing but a pair of strategically placed buns to cover her famously ample cleavage, Ellison performed to a sell-out crowd at the Wales Millennium Centre.

The Hell's Kitchen winner is being accompanied by her baby son Bobby as she brings the touring production to Llandudno, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Edinburgh and Liverpool over the next two months.

When she accepted the part, Ellison admitted she thought she had one of the only female roles which didn't involve disrobing.

She said: 'I thought I was playing the make-up artist, who doesn't strip.

More coverage please: Celia doesn't look too impressed with the moderate-sized pastries

Back to work: Ellison will tour with the cast of Calendar Girls for two months with her baby son Bobby in tow

'It turns out I've got a lead role - and I'm as naked as everyone else.'

Talking about going nude, she explained: 'It's a bit scary but I'm not nervous about it.'

Ellison's opening night comes after she shifted three stone of baby weight in time for her debut in Calendar Girls.

The former Brookside actress admitted she went up five dress sizes while pregnant with her first child Bobby, who was born in February.

Soap stars: Joining the ex-Brookside actress in the play is Bruno Langley, who played Todd Grimshaw in Coronation Street, as the photographer

Due to a traumatic birth – a 92-hour labour followed by a Caesarean – she had to wait six weeks until she could exercise. After that she started Pilates moves, running and boxing with a personal trainer.

Speaking to Closer magazine earlier this month, she said: 'I was a size 8 when I fell pregnant and a size 18 after – I just ballooned. I ate what I wanted and didn’t exercise, so of course I put on weight. I put on 4st. I was like a hippo!'

'I’ve lost 3st thanks to my Closer diet and workouts – and I feel great. I lost this weight the old-fashioned way – a healthy diet and exercise.'

Joining Ellison in the new cast change is former Coronation Street stars Bruno Langley and Denise Black, ex-Hollyoaks actress Miklya Dodd and Hi-De-Hi star Ruth Madoc.

Carly Cole and Jennifer Metcalfe show off their svelte figures as they hit the shops in Liverpool

By Mail Online Reporter

Balancing act: Carly Cole cradles her four-month-old daughter Ruby as she pushes back her pram laden with shopping in Liverpool city centre

One's a WAG married to Joe Cole and the other is a soap star who is an ex-WAG due to her on/off relationship with Jermaine Pennant.

But while Carly Cole and Jennifer Metcalfe don't appear to know each other, both opted for slimming leggings as they hit the shops in Liverpool yesterday.

New Liverpool resident Mrs Cole, whose husband has just transferred from Chelsea to Anfield, showed off her svelte figure in a pair of stirrup leggings and a purple vest.

After picking up some things for her baby daughter Ruby in Mothercare, the east Londoner, 26, stopped to pick up the four-month-old out of her pram to soothe her.

She was later joined by husband Joe who accompanied her on a stroll round the city centre.

The Coles moved up north last week following the winger's rumoured £90,000-a-week transfer to Liverpool F.C.

Looking cool as ice: Jennifer Metcalfe picked up some goods from American Apparel at the Liverpool 1 shopping centre

Although the family are currently living in a hotel while they house hunt for a Merseyside base, Mrs Cole has already been hitting the shops with abundance to furnish their new home.

Meanwhile, looking a bit less harassed at the Liverpool 1 centre nearby was Hollyoaks actress Metcalfe, who was enjoying a spot of retail therapy by herself.

The 26-year-old had also chosen a pair of black leggings, but teamed them with an eye-catching blue jumper, featuring a smiley face, with ice cream cones strategically placed over her chest area.

Struggling: The personal trainer ended up swapping her shopping bags for Ruby when her daughter started to cry

Taut: Mrs Cole's figure has bounced back to shape since giving birth to Ruby four months ago

Metcalfe was at the Liverpool 1 centre only a few days ago when she joined a few of her Hollyoaks co-stars to launch a spin-off book from show, entitled Hollyoaks Girl Talk.

The actress, who plays feisty Mercedes Fisher, wore a bright red dress as she joined on-screen relatives Gemma Merna (Carmel Valentine), Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen) and Hollie-Jay Bowes (Michaela McQueen).

Happy family: Carly is joined by her husband Joe Cole as they take Ruby for a stroll round the city centre

Showing off her curves in her tight-fitting leggings, Metcalfe is feeling more confident about her body than ever after undergoing £2,000 vaser liposuction procedure to remove excess fat from her upper thigh and bottom area.

The brunette beauty underwent the operation at the Beau Aesthetica salon in Leicester last month - just in time for her bikini shoot for the annual Hollyoaks girls calendar shoot.

Shoes too tight? Get a smaller size foot! Women turn to cosmetic surgery to fit into designer heels

By David Wilkes

No pain, no gain: Sarah Jessica Parker and her Sex and the City co-stars inspired a trend of sky-high heels, which is resulting in some women choosing to undergo surgery

In the quest to achieve the perfect statuesque look, a worrying craze is hot-footing it over the Atlantic.

Women are turning to cosmetic surgery on their tootsies in the U.S. just so that they can cram their feet into the latest designer heels.

The trend, inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker tottering across television screens as Manolo Blahnik-loving Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, has led to more and more ladies in Los Angeles having foot surgery – often purely for appearance’s sake.

The Beverly Hills Aesthetic Foot Surgery in Studio City, California, is among those providing an array of operations, including its trademarked ‘Cinderella procedure’ – a preventive bunion correction that makes feet narrower.

Maybe that would appeal to the likes of Victoria Beckham and Kate Beckinsale, who have both battled bunions.

The clinic – which boasts movie stars, models and athletes as clients – also offers the ‘Perfect 10! Aesthetic toe shortening’ operation.

This apparently trims toes which hang over the end of sandals or have to be crushed into tight shoes. There’s also ‘Foot-tuck fat pad augmentation’ in which fat from the patient’s abdomen is injected into the balls of her feet to provide extra cushioning for long days on high heels.

The clinic’s founder, podiatrist Ali Sadrieh, told the Wall Street Journal: ‘It’s unrealistic to tell women not to wear high heels. I came up with procedures that allow the women to function, pain-free, in the real world.’

The clinic also offers toe lengthening and toe straightening, as well as a procedure called hyperhidrosis in whic Botox, which can curb excess sweating, is injected into the feet to prevent fungal growth.

The jab temporarily paralyses muscles with a mild dose of toxin. In the face this eliminates wrinkles. But if injected into hands, feet or armpits, it freezes glands to stop them reacting to heat.

Podiatrists across the U.S. say business is booming, despite warnings from orthopedic surgeons that procedures should only be done to alleviate pain and deformities.

Ouch! Victoria Beckham and Kate Beckinsale both suffer from bunions after years of wearing stilettos

More British women are also requesting toe and ankle correction procedures, as well as Botox injections to the balls of the feet, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Mike Paynton, chairman of the British Chiropody and Podiatry Association, warned against cosmetic surgery on feet. ‘The foot is a complicated structure and you cannot alter one part of it without throwing another out,’ he said.

British women are said to spend £29million a year fixing medical problems such as bunions, corns and trapped nerves caused by high heels.

Model mother Heidi Klum showers baby Lou with kisses and hugs on family stroll

By Kelly Hartog

Mummy's kisses: Heidi Klum enjoyed a day out with her family, including baby Lou, in New York

Heidi Klum shows she can still look fantastic no matter how many children she has and no matter the time of day.

The supermodel and Project Runway host took an early stroll through New York's Soho district this morning with her adorable children.

Wearing dark sunglasses and her hair pulled back in a tight bun, Heidi dressed for the hot summer in a royal blue maxi-dress, which she paired with silver and turquoise bangles and studded ankle-cuffed sandals.

All smiles: The supermodel looked stylish in a blue maxi-dress

The 37-year-old mother of four effortlessly carried 9-month old daughter Lou on her hip and showered her with kisses, while an assistant pushed her 6-year-old Leni and 4-year-old Henry in a double pram and another carried 3-year-old Johan.

Heidi's now busy gearing up for the much anticipated eighth season of the American version of Project Runway, which begins on Thursday night.

She is also nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Host for Reality or Reality Competition Program for Project Runway.

Roll with it: Henry and Leni kept themselves busy in the stroller

The ceremony doesn't take place until August 29, but Heidi says she is already working on what she'll wear for the big event.

'I have been putting my little feelers out there to some designer friends of mine and I'm getting close to whittling something down,' she said in an interview with Digital Spy.

'You have to. This is now where the fashion world sort of closes for August and everyone hops on their boats to drink champagne and disappear for a few weeks, so you have to know what you're doing before.'

Rachel Stevens puts her £1.1million London flat up for sale as she prepares for motherhood

By Emily Sheridan and Sara Nathan

Open plan living: Rachel Stevens is selling her £1.1million two bed flat, which includes a combined living, dining and kitchen area which opens out to a small patio

With her first baby on the way, pregnant pop star Rachel Stevens has put her two bedroom London flat up for sale for £1.1million.

The former S Club 7 singer, 32, and her husband of one year, Alex Bourne, are selling their ground-floor garden flat, which is situated in the exclusive north London suburb of Primrose Hill.

The Strictly Come Dancing 2008 runner-up, who is currently five months pregnant, are hoping to find a bigger family home with full-size garden.

All white on the night: Stevens' flat is dominated by white furniture and walls - which would be a challenging colour scheme for a young family

The chic, airy pad is just a short walk from Regent's Park and has been impeccably designed to Steven's feminine tastes.

Aside from the two bedrooms, there is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, with large glass doors which open to the private patio.

Stevens' living area features a white kitchen, white dining table, white sofas and white walls, with only a few bits of colour injected with the cushions and chairs.

Sanctum of sleep: Stevens' bedroom has a princess feel thanks to the drapes surrounding the king-size bed

Beauty queen: Stevens' dressing table is surrounded by soft lighting and chiffon drapes

Ms Stevens may want to re-think her all-white colour scheme in her new home once she has a child with grubby fingers running around.

Given the ultra-feminine décor of her current flat, no doubt Bourne will be hoping for less floral interiors at their new home.

Their bedroom is particularly feminine, with princess-style chiffon drapes hanging from the ceiling around the couple's king sized bed and Stevens' dressing table.

Floral explosion: Bathers can relax by looking up at a ceiling of red roses as they soak in the tub

The flat comes with two separate WCs and a bathroom, as well as a private entrance and video phone entry system.

White is clearly a popular shade for the singer, who chose pale porcelain for her main bathroom, with the only colour being a ceiling of red roses.

The smaller, second bedroom is currently being used as a dressing room for the star, giving her a relaxing place to get ready for her red carpet events.

While most of the flat is decorated in pale colours, Stevens has opted for a bright orange wall in her small patio.

Blooming: Pregnant Rachel Stevens shopping near her home last week

Giving the garden a Mediterranean feel, it is full of wicker chairs and lots of large green plants.

Aside finding a bigger house for their new family, Stevens may want to rid herself of bad memories after she was mugged on the doorstep of the flat last year.

Terrified Stevens was left 'shaken' in June last year after three men ambushed her on the doorstep of her home.

She was forced to hand over her £800,000 engagement ring, a necklace and a Rolex watch.

In a recent interview, the singer claimed she felt 'sexier' since becoming pregnant.
She told OK! magazine: 'My body's going through lots of changes and I love having a bump.'

Stevens admitted she wasn't too worried about the sex and would wait until the birth to find out if they were having a boy or a girl.

She said: 'Neither of us mind what we have but most people think that I'm having a girl, but I really don't know.'

Getting ready for my close up: The smaller second bedroom has been converted into a dressing room with a flamboyant red rose colour scheme

Kerry Katona spends a lovely Sunday with her girls after breaking up with boyfriend

By Georgina Littlejohn

Off to the party: Kerry Katona takes her daughters Molly and Lily Sue to a garden party for BBC children's show Zingzillas in Central London

Kerry and Brian call a truce for the children as she reveals she's single again

She is tired of Adam Waldron's drinking and realised she didn't love him

After spending time apart in past weeks, it must have been lovely for Kerry Katona to spend Sunday with her daughters.

The threesome attended a garden party for BBC children's television show Zingzillas in Central London.

She was reunited with Molly and Lily Sue this weekend when her ex-husband Brian McFadden returned with them from holiday in L.A.

The girls arrived home to the news that Kerry had split from her boyfriend Adam Waldron.

Kiss for mum: The girls looked delighted to be reunited with their mother after a Stateside holiday with father Brian McFadden

The reality TV star called time on her whirlwind romance with the painter and decorator, saying she never loved him, and that she is happy to be single again.

Speaking to the Sunday papers, she revealed that the pair had split after a number of blazing rows, and added: 'I'm not sad - I'm relieved.'

The news comes the day after Kerry was reunited with one of her exes as she and Brian McFadden put their long-running feud on hold for their two daughters.

Single again: Kerry contemplates life as singleton after breaking up with boyfriend of two months Adam Waldron

The split comes just weeks after the 29-year-old former pop star and Adam, 33, who have been dating since May, had a romantic getaway to Spain and were seen kissing and giggling together every day.

But things came to a head last Sunday when they had a blazing row, and Kerry dumped Adam and fled to her mum's, who lives near him in Warrington, Cheshire.

Kerry also revealed that one of the reasons for the split was that she had had enough of his drinking, just as she tries to cut down for the sake of her children and her career.

And she also cited not being able to afford the petrol to drive up and see him from her Surrey home as another reason to end the relationship.

It's over: Kerry Katona has broken up with Adam Waldron, just two weeks after their romantic getaway to Spain

She said: 'It all happened too quickly for me. I wasn't ready. My life has completely changed and I don't have room for a man in it.

'I still like Adam. I like his company and I want us to stay friends. He's very upset about what's happened and I feel terrible.'

But Adam insisted he was actually relieved about the split and told the Sunday Mirror that a life in the spotlight just wasn't for him.

He said: 'Kerry's great, but the life she leads isn't for me. I'm just a normal bloke. I'm not into the fame and being pictured and all that.'

Brian, 30, was seen dropping Molly, eight, and seven-year-old Lily Sue at Kerry's home in Surrey yesterday.

Reunited: Kerry Katona and her ex-husband Brian McFadden put their fight on hold as he dropped off their daughters at her Surrey home yesterday

Follow me, Daddy: Lily Sue leads the way as Brian takes the girls' suitcases inside the house

It's been a long time since the pair were seen in the same room together, mostly due to their differences.

Brian is also on the other side of the world to his girls, having been living in Australia with soap star turned pop singer fianceé Delta Goodrem for the past three years.

Ever since, he and Kerry have publicly traded insults at each other, with her accusing him of not paying maintenance and him criticising the way she is raising their daughters.

But by the looks of the photos, it was actually a rather civilised reunion for the divorced couple, who even sat down and had a drink and a cigarette together.

Brian was taking Molly and Lily Sue back to their mothers' after they spent some time with him in Los Angeles recently.

He was snapped standing outside the house talking to Kerry and the girls before taking their suitcases into the house.

Civilised: Kerry and Brian have a chat and soak up the sun while Molly and Lily Sue play with the family dog Kai

Mummy and Daddy together again: Molly and Lily Sue look happy to see their parents getting on

He then stopped for a drink and a smoke in the sun before hugging and kissing his daughters goodbye before getting in his car to make his way back to Australia.

Kerry and Brian met in 2000 when she was with the girl group Atomic Kitten and he was still part of boy band Westlife.

They married in 2002 but separated in 2004 and were divorced in December 2006.

Kiss for Daddy: Brian bids his eldest daughter goodbye as he gets ready to leave

But their split was far from amicable, with the pair of them unable to hold their tongues when it came to dishing out insults.

In April this year, Brian called his wife a 'pig-faced mole' who lives in a 'fantasy world' after she accused him of barely speaking to his daughters.

And just a few weeks ago, he said he was furious with Kerry and accused her of using their daughters like 'pawns' after they appeared on the Channel 4 documentary 'Kerry & Me', in which the troubled star was seen smoking and threatening to 'knock out' Molly.
